Welcome and thank you for visiting our website! ArtSea Studio of Babylon Village is a fun and exciting place to anchor your creativity. Our studio offers a variety of classes for artists of all ages. Sign up for children's after school art classes or feed your creative side and quench your thirst for exploration in the arts by signing up for a Paint and Pour class. In addition to our scheduled classes, you may also request private events such as children's birthday parties, private Paint and Pours, private art lessons, Girl and Boy Scout badges and much more!!

Who are we?

ArtSea Studio began with a simple idea to bring our love for art to the people in our community. We seek to provide you with an opportunity for a creative outlet or simply a fun night out. So many children are born with a penchant for art and we wanted to give children in our neighborhood a chance to extend their love for art further than the school classroom.

Owner Kristie Hirten is a NYS certified art teacher currently teaching at East Rockaway Jr/Sr High School. She has her Bachelors of Art Education from Adelphi University 2011 and her Masters of Fine Arts from CUNY Queens College 2013. She is a practicing artist and her artwork can be seen at www.kristiehirten.com

Owner Barbara Hirten is a NYS certified art teacher who brings to the studio 33 years experience of teaching art education. Barbara recently retired from the Bellmore-Merrick CHSD and is happy to continue educating students at ArtSea. She has her Bachelors of art education from Dowling College and her Master of Education from Queens college.

Owner Kimberly Hirten is a NYS art certified teacher. Kimberly is currently teaching elementary art in Oceanside. She teaches Kindergarten through 6th grade. She has her Bachelors degree in Education from Hunter College and her Masters degree in art education at Adelphi University.
